Kalahari Hat UVeto Australia
The Kalahari Hat by UVeto Australia is an Australian designed hat with influences of the original Legionnaires hat with added sun protection. Made with high rated UPF 50+ microfibre of 100% cotton, it has a longer rear flap than the competition, a curved peak like a proper cap and it comes in a great range of colours. It’s a true "one size fits all" hat, with an elasticated headband and spring-loaded toggle to ensure a nice tight fit.
The Kalahari Hat can be worn down and secured around the front of the neck, or you can wear it up by securing the velcro around the back of the neck.

We recently conducted breathability studies on the micro mesh and 100% cotton for our large mining customer. To do this test, we sent material samples to Hong Kong and a laboratory conducted water vapour transmission testing of the samples. This testing found that the two materials breath almost identical (965 micro-mesh vs 961 cotton - g/25h/m2 water vapour transmission.) So, If you're after a product that will breath like 100% cotton, yet has all the hard-wearing properties of polyester, we suggest the micro-mesh version of this product. Not only will the micro-mesh product last longer, but it will also keep its colour for longer, it's quicker to dry and will generally be more robust than the 100% cotton variety.
